How to enjoy
Quick-fry minced pork with garlic, ginger and a splash of soy. Spoon into cos leaves and finish with spring onion and a drizzle of sesame oil for crunch and umami. Try with Lean Pork Mince.
Sauté mushrooms with garlic, then toss with chilled silken tofu, light soy and rice vinegar. Spoon into chilled leaves with sesame seeds. Start with Ever Green Silken Tofu.
Halve lengthwise, brush with oil, and grill cut‑side down until lightly charred (1–2 minutes). Drizzle a soy‑sesame dressing and top with crushed croutons or nuts. A few drops of Sesame Oil make it pop.
Swish whole leaves briefly in a clear or mushroom hotpot broth until just wilted; serve immediately for a crisp‑tender bite. Try with Haidilao Mushroom Hot Pot Seasoning.
Prep Tips
- Halve lengthwise, then rinse between leaves; shake dry or spin well so dressings cling.
- Keep cores intact for grilling or wedge salads; trim only the browned end.
- Season and dress just before serving to keep that signature crunch.
- For stir‑fry, cook over high heat and toss quickly (30–60 seconds) to stay crisp.
