INGREDIENTS
*For the Pandan*
Agar agar powder
14g
Water
500ml
Coconut cream
270ml
Gula melaka
100g
White sugar
200g
Pandan paste/flavouring
*For the Coffee Agar Agar*
Agar agar powder
11g
Saigon Brew Long Black (or coffee of your choice)
185ml
Water
500ml
Sweetened condensed milk (or to taste)
6Tbsp
Pandan Agar Agar:
- Add all ingredients to a medium sized pot and gently bring to the boil.
- Stir to dissolve the sugar and immediately reduce the heat once it reaches a boil. Simmer for 5 mins then pour into a mould (I used a 7”x10” plastic container). Allow to sit at room temperature for half an hour then place in the fridge to set. This will take a few hours.
- Once set, you can cut your agar agar into blocks and serve.
Coffee Agar Agar:
- Add all ingredients to a medium sized pot and gently bring to the boil.
- Stir to mix in the condensed milk and immediately reduce the heat once it reaches a boil. Simmer for 5 mins then pour into a mould (I used a 7”x10” plastic container). Allow to sit at room temperature for half an hour then place in the fridge to set. This will take a few hours.
- Once set, you can cut your agar agar into blocks and serve.
